The brief called for an interior that evoked the feeling of being near the coast: luminous, natural and unhurried. The palette responds with whites as the dominant tone, layered with blues and greens that reference the sea and surrounding vegetation, and grounded by natural textures — rattan, wood and organic fibers — that bring warmth without weight.
The living area is positioned to take full advantage of the floor-to-ceiling windows, where a sofa, ottoman and accent chair are arranged to maximize both comfort and view. A round dining table in wood and rattan seats four without encroaching on the flow between spaces. The kitchen extends into a peninsula that doubles as a bar, creating a natural transition between cooking and socializing. Coastal artwork was selected throughout to reinforce the concept without overstating it.
The bedroom continues the same calm palette — green accent pillows, rattan nightstands, brass fixtures — extending the coastal mood into the most private space of the apartment.

The central challenge was familiar: how to create a meaningful separation between sleeping and living within a single open space. The solution is a freestanding timber shelving unit that acts as a room divider — open enough to maintain light and visual connection, structured enough to define two distinct zones.
On the living side, a terracotta sofa and mustard ottoman introduce the color palette — warm, energetic, layered. On the sleeping side, the bed is anchored by blue accent cushions that echo the navy kitchen cabinetry visible from across the space.
The navy blue kitchen is the apartment's boldest statement — deep, confident cabinetry paired with black fixtures and under-cabinet lighting, contrasting with the otherwise light and airy interior. The bathroom carries the same contemporary spirit with a round backlit mirror and a carefully chosen artwork that adds a playful note.
