The response is a layered interior built on a neutral palette of browns, ochres, beige and deep greens, with deliberate dark accents that keep the space from feeling passive.
The defining element is the accent wall: a full-length black and white geometric wallpaper that runs the entire length of the main wall, creating an immediate visual anchor without overpowering the room. Against it, a custom oval dining table in timber with rattan and black chairs seats eight — extendable for larger gatherings. Globe pendant lighting in brass runs above the table, adding warmth and visual height.
The bar area sits at the entrance, framed by arched mirrors that reflect light and depth back into the space. Rattan and black barstools line the counter; vertical timber slats behind the seating add texture and rhythm. The living area offers multiple seating configurations — a large sofa, a smaller companion piece, accent chairs — arranged to allow both conversation and solitude. Towards the windows, two private seating clusters with leather armchairs and marble accent tables create moments of quiet within the larger space. Globe lighting in varying configurations runs throughout, creating cohesion without uniformity.
The lounge extends to an outdoor terrace, expanding the social footprint of the building.
Color is the starting point here. Terracotta and blue define the space — a blue sofa anchors the living area, surrounded by terracotta accent chairs and ottomans with gold accents. A curtain divider creates a soft, flexible boundary between the living and dining areas without closing the space off. A colorful artwork adds a note of personality to the living area without competing with the overall composition.
The dining table in timber with metal legs seats a full group, with accent chairs in blue at the ends to introduce variation. The shuffleboard runs along the window wall, directly connected to the outdoor pool terrace — a deliberate placement that blurs the line between inside and out. The kitchenette is finished in black and timber cabinetry, maintaining coherence with the overall palette while anchoring the functional corner of the space.
Both lounges were delivered as full-service projects — moodboard, layout, realistic renders, sourcing and shoppable list — and built as designed.
